Big Weekend- cont.

Tonight was pizza night. I didn't get to have any but I hung out with Dad while he ate. Then Mom told me the Christmas story as we played with my new Little People nativity set. My Great Aunt Maureen gave it to me and it is cool!

Big Weekend

I went to my first Christmas party Saturday night. I wore the outfit Mimi gave me but as you can see I have already outgrown it as my fleece pants were more like capris. Good thing it was 70 degrees. I met my friend Jared who was born 10 days after me. He likes to sleep alot. My mom said I should learn from him but I like checking out the world.

Big Weekend

I had a big weekend. I spent Saturday morning with Dad. First we took a nap and then we had storytime. I like it when we read.

Mimi, Aunt Shannon and Maeve came to visit this week. They helped mom take me on my first outing in the real world-we went to Nordstrom's!! I did really well and mom is excited that I can be her shopping partner until I decide that playing outside in the dirt is more fun.
Aunt Shannon is camera happy and took these pictures of me and Maeve. We had a lot of fun together! I went to the dr today where I weighed in at 10lbs 11oz and 24 inches long. Whew- all this growing is hard work!

Welcome to the Councill Family Blog! Really this will be all about Jack and will save most of you from receiving weekly emails with his cute pictures :) You can just check in here to see what Jack has been up to.

John Connor Councill arrived on Nov 8 weighing 8lbs 13oz and hasn't stopped growing since. He likes to eat ALOT. Jack is a great tempered baby- so far- and we are figuring this parenthood thing out as we go.

We had a great Thanksgiving in Knoxville with my family. Jack got to meet his cousin Maeve for the first time. She and Aunt Shannon couldn't come to Atlanta for his birth b/c Maeve is only 4 weeks older than Jack. Jack didn't really know what to think of Maeve since she is much more "vocal" than him but that is probably a sign of things to come. Mimi and Goose spoiled us all with great meals and the opportunity to take lots of naps. Clay and I even went on our first date since his birth.

Here are a few pics from the week.
