Lunch with James

Today we had lunch with our friends Ginny and James. James just got here a month ago but we are gonna be buddies soon! I will teach him everything I know! Mimi gave me this LeapFrog ball and it my new favorite toy. I spin it and it plays music. Very cool!

Hammock with Dad

When Daddy came home from work tonight, we hung out in the hammock. I get SO excited when he comes home and plays with me!

Cincinnati

All the Connors, Schupps and Councills went to Cincinnati for Father's Day weekend to see Goose play the Reds. Nevermind that it was a match up of the two worst teams in baseball, we had a blast! Maeve has started crawling and was very aggressive, trying to crawl over Uncle Ryan to get me. Mimi played with me the first night so Mom and Dad could go to a game by themselves and then I went the next night. Here I am with Goose and on Dad's shoulders. It was super hot so I took my shirt off. We all had a great time!

Happy Father's Day

First Beach trip

So I loved the beach! I loved the sand! I loved the water! We went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house in Nags Head and had a great time playing on the beach and in my little pool that Daddy filled with water from the ocean. After we got out of the water, Mommy would wrap me up in a warm towel. Then we would come back to the house and get cleaned up in the outdoor shower and hang out on the hammock swing. Ah, life is good.

Ann and Ryan- Reception

Before Ann's reception at the Country Club we took pictures in the gardens at the Farm. It was so HOT! Here are some pics of me with my favorite people- Mom, Dad, Uncle Jordan and Greyson. The last pic is of Ann and her 4 brothers. Jordan made it back from Africa- he was there hiking Mt Kilamanjaro and doing some volunteer work- just in time!

My Aunt Ann married Ryan (now I have two Uncle Ryans) on Friday in Washington, DC. Here are pics from the beautiful (but VERY warm) day. Ann looked so pretty!!After the wedding we drove to Franklin for a reception.

Visit to KaBOOM!

We started our vacation with a trip to the KaBOOM! office in Washington, DC. I was great on the plane and then we went to the office to meet mommy's co-workers and friends. They loved playing with me and they gave me this great purple ball.

Sipping on Juice

I love my new sippy cup! Upside down or right side up it is yummy! And it feels really good on my NEW TOOTH! Yep, my first tooth has come through. Mommy hopes I will sleep a little better now. A big shout out to my friend Betsy who has her bachelorette party this weekend. Don't kiss too many shady guys at the FlorBama!!! Have fun!

We broke out the smocked seersucker today for church. Yep, smocked seersucker. Yep, I am a Southern Boy.

Sitting and Swinging

So alot of firsts this weekend. After having built playgrounds for the last six years, my mom never imagined the day would come when she would get to take her own child to the playground. But it did and I had so much fun! I loved sitting up all by myself (another first) on the slide. I loved the swings. I giggled as Daddy pushed me really high. My mom said when I grow up she would tell me the story about when she got stuck in the tot swing . Yeah for playgrounds!!

Daddy is better!

My Dad is feeling much better. Thanks to everyone for your prayers, phone calls and emails. Me and Mom have taken good care of him this week. Tonight we sat in our chair and he rubbed my belly before bedtime which makes me giggle.
