Jack's first snow!

It's snowing! It's snowing! Mom took me outside tonight as the flurries got bigger and fluffier. I was amazed by this white stuff. I tried catching in my hands and on my tongue. I was sad to have to come inside but hopefully it will still be there in the morning!

Snow!!!

14 Months!

This week I turned 14 months! No exciting pictures to post but I have lots of new tricks! I love using my fork to eat and can manage to pick food up and put it in my mouth. After every bite I clap for myself b/c that is what Mommy did when I started doing it. I eat anything you put on my plate. If you are eating it, I want it. I love to dip things- nuggets in bbq sauce, waffles in syrup, etc. I am walking pretty well except when I try to run. Then I tend to lead with my head, which is abnormally large and gets in the way. This weekend I fell on it 3 times! My vocabulary consists of "da", "dougie" (my lovey), "hot", "all done", "outside", and "uh oh." No "mom" yet but I definitely know who she is and don't like to go far from her. My favorite songs are itsy bitsy spider and wheels on the bus. I still have a great disposition and am a very happy kid!

This morning my Dad was on the Fox Morning show in Charlotte to talk about Home Depot's sponsorship of the volunteer projects on MLK Day. Mom took this picture of the tv. Apparently he had some cameos but we weren't awake until 7:30 of the 6am-8am show!

Roadtrip

We took a big roadtrip this weekend. Try to stay with me as I tell you about all the fun places and people we saw.

On our way to Charlotte Friday, we stopped in Greenville and had lunch with my mom's high school friend Clarice and her husband Drew. Clarice will be mad that mommy put this picture up b/c she didn't get to put her lipstick on but I think we look cute.

In Charlotte, we had breakfast with my mom's friend Chaney (who is now blonde!). They started their jobs at the Home Depot office on the same day in 1999 and have been friends ever since. Chaney moved to Charlotte last year and we are excited to spend more time with her when we move there! I thought she was really funny!

Mom and I went to visit Dad at the store. I like walking the aisles with him. Doesn't he look cool in his apron?

On Saturday, we got back in the car and drove to Roanoke, VA. Uncle Jordan moved there from San Diego and bought a great house with a cool view of the mountains. We celebrated his 29th birthday with a yummy dinner.

On Sunday, we headed back to Charlotte and stopped at our cousins- Leigh, Scott and Logan- who live in Huntersville. Logan is 21 months and he has great toys! He was really fun to play with and I look forward to hanging out with him more!

And on our way back today, we stopped in Greenville again- this time at the Wallaces. I got to play with Emslie and Virginia which was a great break from the car. I am a really good roadtripper and that makes my mom happy since we are on the go alot!

First Haircut

I got my first haircut yesterday. It isn't that I have a lot of hair, it was that what I have was getting too long. So we went to this fancy kids cut place where they have fun chairs to sit in. I was not interested in sitting in the chair so I ended up in Mom's lap. Here I am before the haircut, looking a little nervous.

I sat very still as the nice lady cut my hair and gave me animal crackers.

And then I was very happy when it was over!

Here I am snuggling with my friend Ali, watching Barney. I love snuggling and I LOVE Barney!
