Fun times in Knoxville

We went to Knoxville this weekend. My Mimi's sister- Aunt Eileen- came to visit from NY so we thought we would get in the car (again) and say hi! Mimi gave me and Maeve lots of poppies (lollipops).

Mimi and Aunt Shannon did some shopping for me and picked up this blazer and these Polo slip ons. What do you think??

Maeve liked to climb on the diaper box and pretend she is tall!!

Here we are with Great Aunt Eileen!

Maeve and I loved playing peek-a-boo in the playhouse.

On the road again

We hit the road again this weekend. First to Charlotte, then to Asheville, then back to Charlotte, then to Raleigh, then back to Charlotte, then home to Atlanta. I was such a good boy. And I got a few zzzs while we were crisscrossing the Tar Heel state.
In between all of our traveling, we went to the Davidson vs Furman basketball game on Saturday. My mom's godfather is the coach at Davidson but she is a Furman grad so she was torn. As you can see by our outfits, Dad and I were not. My black and red Davidson warm-up is courtesy of Goose who wanted me to look good cheering on the Wildcats (he also got me my cool Pumas seen here). They didn't need much help. Davidson won 86-51. Poor purple Paladins. Oh well.

Weekend Fun and Food

When we got to Charlotte on Thursday, Daddy had this sign waiting for Mommy. He got a babysitter and took her on a surprise date! He is so good to her!

We did a lot of traveling - Asheville, Charlotte and Raleigh - and alot of eating. As I have mentioned before I love to dip my food. Sauces, dips, whatever is around, I like dipping. Here I am having french toast at Flying Biscuit. Mom poured out most of the syrup and then gave me the little cup. I would put my whole piece of french toast in it and then eat it soggy! Yummy

Another day we ate at Zaxby's. I liked dipping my chicken fingers in the Zaxby's sauce but once those were gone I decided to just put my fingers in the sauce and lick those. See video below.

Jack loves Zaxby's sauce!

15 Months

I turned 15 months old on Friday. We went to the dr yesterday and I weighed 23.12 lbs (50th percentile) and was 32" tall (90th percentile) so am I tall and skinny. Apparently I have my dad's metabolism b/c I eat everything that you put in front of me. My new favorite toy is this great tunnel. I love to chase my parents through it and also throw all my balls in there and go get them.

Going down the stairs

We love our friends!

Somebody's gonna drop everything
Run out and crank up their car
Hit the gas, get there fast
Never stop to think 'what's in it for me?'
or 'it's way too far'
They just show on up with their big old heart
You find out who your friends are

Thanks to our wonderful friends and family who have been so supportive this week! Your calls, emails, lunches, dinners, flowers, cookie bouquets, hugs and prayers have meant so much. We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

I'm back!!

This past week my mom had to go on a business trip to Washington DC and my dad was working in Charlotte so I got stay with Mimi and Goose in Knoxville. I had such a great time with them and with Maeve. We love playing together. She is so smart and would come over to the house and walk right in and scream "Jack, Jack." I can't say her name yet but I definitely know who she is- my favorite cousin!
Mimi and Goose took us to Build a Bear! Maeve and I both picked out puppies to build.

On Saturday, we went to cheer on Uncle Ryan. He coaches the Magic, a basketball team of 9 and 10 year olds. They made it all the way to the semi-finals! Thanks Mimi and Goose for a great week!

Old friends, New friends

My dad reconnected with his old friend Mike Woodward, who lives in Charlotte with his wife Erin and their kids Liam (4) and Sutton (1). We had a great time out to dinner with them last weekend. Sutton really liked her pizza! Our parents agreed, though, that next time we should just order in. It was too crazy having us run around the restaurant!
