Five Months

Little Miss Virginia Ann turned five months yesterday!

Showing her belly- we had a talk about it. She knows it isn't ladylike :)

Love this smile!
Those eyes!

Happy to be five months!

I felt like Virginia Ann went from being a newborn to an infant this month. She rolls over, holds her head up and is trying to sit up. She knows the faces and voices of everyone in our family and loves when Jack and Madeline talk to her. She is eating cereal and likes it in small doses. She is a happy baby and her smile will melt you! I love this little girl so much!

Friday night Fun

We enjoyed a beautiful Friday night at a church BBQ and Easter Egg hunt. The kids had a blast!

It was the calm before the storm, as they say. We were hit with some horrible weather on Saturday including tornadoes. Our house is fine but we have friends who had trees through their roofs and additional major damage. It will be a long road for this city but we are glad that all we love are okay!

Me and Madgirl (I got bangs last month- what do you think?)Virginia Ann's latest face- I think she is teething b/c Madeline did this same thing

Easter Egg Cake pops

My newest baking assistant supervised me making these today.

Check out my new "crafty" blog here for more info!

Kite Days

Jack has been begging to get a kite the last week so he and Clay went and found the perfect kite- aka it actually flies and bonus, it has Buzz and Woody from Toy Story on it!

Jack has flown it every day since!

The Farm

We went to Clay's parents- Grandma and PaPa's last weekend. Jack and Madeline LOVE running around the farm with their cousins and the weather was great for climbing one of the HUGE magnolia trees!

Jim bought a new golf cart to ride around the farm and the kids were loving the adventures!

Madeline talks a big talk when it comes to horses but she is not a fan up close!
Jack would feed Summer the apples right out of his hand.
Some of the out buildings on the farm- a photographer's dream! Too bad I am not one!
I had one sort of willing subject but the shadows were bad

We love making memories at the farm with our Councill cousins and Grandma and Papa!
