CEREAL!!!
Today Mommy fed me rice cereal with a spoon. Most of it ended up on my bib and I made some funny faces. Mostly, I was just interested in my hands.

Jack's Blessing

Yesterday I had my Baby Blessing at church. Mimi, Aunt Shannon and Maeve came for my big day and Uncle Jordan flew all the way from San Diego. Lots of our friends celebrated with us at a brunch afterward. I had a great time even though I had to wear a dress! Here are some pics of me with my parents, my dad's brothers' Jordan and Jay and then Mimi, Shan and Maeve.

Parties and play
I hung out with my friends Christie and Brad last weekend. They are cool! Yesterday Mommy took me to see Daddy at work. It was a special Home Depot KaBOOM! day at the office. We celebrated the hundreds of playgrounds we have built together. Soon I will be able to play on them! Here I am with Daddy and my new friend Nancy.

It has been a big week. I started taking baths in my very own tub. I like it alot! Also Mimi and Goose came to visit me. It was great! The weather got very cold here so mom put me in this sweater. She says I look cute but I am not so sure about it...

I have found my hands!
I found my hands recently and love sticking them in my mouth. I still can't completely control my arms so sometimes my mom has to show me where my hands are. I got to go to lunch with Jenna and Erica last week. We ate Mexican- my favorite!

Hoos Your Daddy?
Here I am in my UVA onesie my Aunt Ann gave me. She and my dad are Wahoos, whatever that is. But as my dad would say, what is a Paladin? My parents obviously didn't choose their alma maters based on their mascots. Go Wahoos!!

Connor Christmas
On Thursday we headed to Knoxville. I did really well during the 8 hour drive. I got to hang out with my cousin Maeve, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Cory, Uncle Ryan and Mimi and Goose. One of Goose's pitchers sent me this shirt that says "My Goose Rocks." I spent lots of time with Goose and he started teaching me about change-ups, sliders and fastballs but no curve balls til I am 14. We had a great visit and now it is good to be home!

Christmas 2006
While we were in VA, we did family pictures with all the Councills. All the adults dressed in blue. Above is our little family. My mom is blaming the bags under her eyes on me. I don't know why she thinks sleep is so important. The next picture is of me holding my head up. I like to do it all the time now. Then there is me in my favorite Christmas shirt- "no more silent nights." How True! I also took a field trip to Colonial Williamsburg with my mom and dad. They go every year to look at all the decorations. This is us in front of the Magazine.

Councill Cousins
My dad has 3 brothers and 1 sister so I am very lucky to have lots of cousins. Above is a picture of all of us in our Christmas pjs that Grandma gave us (L-R Chandlyr, Keller, Bayli, Enoch, Greyson, Win, Adelynn and me). Grandma thought it was fun to hold me and Greyson. He is 6 weeks older than me so we will be a lot of trouble, I mean, fun when we grow up!

Over the river and through the woods
I had a great first Christmas! First we headed to the Councills in Virginia. On our way we stopped in Greenville to see my mom's friend Ginger. We had a nice visit and then were on our way to Winston-Salem to spend the night with my great-grandmother, Dottie. Then when we got to Virginia, I got to meet my other great-grandparents- Da and Genie. I am so blessed to have these people in my life!
