Easter Weekend

We had a great weekend in Knoxville celebrating Easter.
Maeve and I in our Easter best:
Our future is so bright, we gotta wear shades.

Batter Up!

My new favorite person is Uncle Ryan. We played all weekend and it just got better when the Easter Bunny brought me my first bat and tee. Uncle Ryan immediately set it up and taught me how to swing! So fun!
The stance: Uncle Ryan thought I should swing lefty. We'll see how long that lasts.

The follow through:

Off to run the bases:

Another hunt!

Maeve had an Easter Egg Hunt at her house on Saturday. Uncle Ryan held my basket as I gathered the eggs and took a break to go down the slide.

Breakfast in Bed

So we are getting our house painted this week and can't go in any room except Mom's and mine. Needless to say we have been to alot of playgrounds and restaurants! This morning Mom let me eat breakfast in bed-hers. I ate my waffle and watched Doodlebops while she got ready. I even jumped on the bed!

On Monday we met Annie and Ashley at the park. We loved going down the double slide together. Check out my green pants for St Pattys Day!

Easter Egg Huntin

The Austins (TA, Julie, Maggie and Sophie) had an Easter egg hunt this afternoon. It was my first ever but I was very good at it!

Daddy held my basket while I put the eggs in it.

YES! I found some!
Time for a juice box break!
Counting my eggs!

Here's Mom and Julie. Julie introduced my Mom and Dad. We love her and are so thankful for her TEN years of friendship!

Happy as a pig in mud!

You may have heard about the storms we are having in the ATL but no worries we are fine! And actually the rain has created lots of puddles for me to play in. Uncle Ryan is in the town for the SEC tournament and he showed me how to throw things in this puddle and make splashes. The newspaper made a BIG splash! I loved it! Thanks Uncle Ryan! Go Vols!

Pie and playgrounds!

Happy Pi Day! Yes, today is March 14 or 3.14 (pi). My parents are not math people but they do love Pi Day. In celebration of it we usually have a big party where everyone brings a pie but we have a lot going on right now so no party this year. We just wanted to let you know to have a piece of pie today and celebrate Pi Day!

Also, if you live in or anywhere near Acworth, we will be building a special needs playground there tomorrow at the Ballfields off Main Street- 4000 South Main Street,Acworth, GA 30101. We will have about 250 volunteers and be working from 8am-3pm. Stop by and see us!

Raleigh Here We Come!

Yep! The Councills are moving to Raleigh, NC! We are so excited to explore our new city and to house hunt! How fun it will be the second time around! Mom says all she needs is bigger closets and a double sink. Dad says it will be okay if I want to be a Tar Heel instead of Wahoo as long as we keep it in the ACC. There are many good things about our new adventure except for we don't know ONE SINGLE PERSON in Raleigh (or surrounding 100 miles). Do you know anyone in Raleigh? There have to be cool people there like us, right?

Spring Training in Arizona

Mom and I had a great time in Arizona with Mimi and Goose. They are out there for a couple of months for Spring Training and we got to go visit! Their house is in a great resort with an awesome pool that I loved. Mom loved the spa where Mimi treated her to a facial! What a treat it was for us! Thanks Mimi and Goose!

Go Rangers!

I got to visit Goose at work- the ballpark. The Rangers spring train in Surprise, AZ and it was a beautiful day for a game.
We got to the game a little early so that I could go on the field and play catch with Goose. I also got to wear a jersey with his number on it (and my mom's maiden name :)

Arizona Rocks!!

Arizona was great for a lot of reasons but one of them was that there were so many ROCKS! I love rocks! I love to throw them- everywhere.

Another cool thing about AZ was that they had grass!! It has been over year that we have had drought conditions in Georgia so I have never really seen green, lush grass. I love running around on it!

First swim of the season!

I loved the pool in Arizona - check it out- who wouldn't? I would run straight in before Mom or Mimi could even get their shoes off!

I loved blowing bubbles. I was not afraid to put my face in the water and I loved jumping off the side into Mom's arms.

The pool- paradise on earth!

Happy 1st day of Crocs!!!

It hit 77 degrees today! Mom let me wear my Crocs for the first time! I had a little difficulty walking in them but I think I will get used to them. And I can take them off so easily! I love it!
Last weekend Dad went skiing with his Dad and brothers and he brought me back this cool t-shirt! Here are some shots of me in my Crocs (mainly for Chaney who loves Crocs!):

Dad made lots of Rice Krispie treats over the weekend. I loved eating them. Here I look quite guilty:

Two things

1) Check out this article on my grandpa -http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/columnists/randy_galloway//index.html
We agree with the author that Goose should be compensated for the great job he does but if he doesn't go back next year, it just means we get to see him a lot more!!!!

2)A fellow Paladin (that's Furman grad) is trying to become Chief Magic Officer at Disney. Watch her video and vote for Meggin!!
