Me and my Lamb

I have been very busy trying out my new lovies. Here I am pictured with Larry the Lamb. I also have Dougie the Duck. Mom wants me to pick one but I like them both. I also like my playmat. I have started to reach up and grab the dangling toys.

Mimi and Goose's 35th Anniversary

Last weekend we headed to Knoxville to throw a 35th anniversary party for Mimi and Goose. I got to hang out for the first hour and meet all the fun people who came. Everyone had a great time and we love Mimi and Goose for showing us how to love and be loved!!

Me and Dad

I hung out with my Daddy alot this weekend. He talks to me in Spanish hoping I will learn it and he also likes to make me laugh. I love my Bumbo seat and have mastered leaning over and putting my hands in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy just watch me and smile.

Mommy bought me a Bumbo seat today so I can start to sit up on my own. I am getting so big!!!

CEREAL!!!

Today Mommy fed me rice cereal with a spoon. Most of it ended up on my bib and I made some funny faces. Mostly, I was just interested in my hands.

Jack's Blessing

Yesterday I had my Baby Blessing at church. Mimi, Aunt Shannon and Maeve came for my big day and Uncle Jordan flew all the way from San Diego. Lots of our friends celebrated with us at a brunch afterward. I had a great time even though I had to wear a dress! I hung out with my friends Christie and Brad last weekend. They are cool! Yesterday Mommy took me to see Daddy at work. It was a special Home Depot KaBOOM! day at the office. We celebrated the hundreds of playgrounds we have built together. Soon I will be able to play on them! Here I am with Daddy and my new friend Nancy.

Today mom and I went to visit our friends Ashley and Annie. Annie wasn't supposed to be here until Jan 28 but she was excited to join us and came on Dec 10. She is doing great and soon we will be able to play lots! But for now I will just protect her since I am a little bigger :)

It has been a big week. I started taking baths in my very own tub. I like it alot! Also Mimi and Goose came to visit me. It was great! The weather got very cold here so mom put me in this sweater. She says I look cute but I am not so sure about it...

I have found my hands!

I found my hands recently and love sticking them in my mouth. I still can't completely control my arms so sometimes my mom has to show me where my hands are. I got to go to lunch with Jenna and Erica last week. We ate Mexican- my favorite!

Warm and toasty

I got all bundled up in my new fleece to go to Mommy's Junior League meeting last night ( Daddy had Leadership Cobb). I was so good and smiled and laughed with all the ladies.

I am 2 months old!!

I am 2 months old today! I went to the doctor for my shots and only cried a little bit. Daddy held my hand and Mommy was more scared than I was. I weighed 13 lbs 3 oz- thats what eating every 2 hours will do for you.

Here I am in my UVA onesie my Aunt Ann gave me. She and my dad are Wahoos, whatever that is. But as my dad would say, what is a Paladin? My parents obviously didn't choose their alma maters based on their mascots. Go Wahoos!!
