Jammin

Clay was so impressed with my jam making skills and domesticity and sad that he missed our strawberry pickin on Saturday, that we went back last night for more berries! Good thing the farm is only a few miles from our house!
So we did some of this:

And lots of this:
And came in from the fields when the rain started but not before we had 22lbs of strawberries!! Then my lovely assistant and I got to work
Making all of this:

And this fabulous strawberry avocado salsa which is great with a chip, a spoon or served over chicken like I did last night.

When is blueberry season???

Oh yummy!! You should post the recipe for that delicious looking strawberry salsa...I'd love to try that out!
