I had the pleasure of throwing a super fun baby shower for my friend Ashley today. She is due with her first baby- Charlie- in a few short weeks!

I finally had an outlet for the craftiness in me! This diaper wreath greeted you at the door!

We had yummy food- chicken salad on croissants, fruit salad, spinach salad and spinach dip.

I did these blocks for Charlie's nursery. Ashley picked out Eli's Elephant from Pottery Barn Kids. Charlie's dad, Noel, is a big Alabama fan. I put aside my Tennessee loyalties and did a little "Go Bama!" on one side of the blocks. That is love!

My gift to Ashley. I found the lamp last fall when she decided to do elephants in the nursery. My neighbor monogrammed the fabric for me and I made the shade. They have a great do-it-yourself shade kit at Hobby Lobby. Of course Raleigh doesn't have a HL but I hit it when I go to Knoxvegas.

My sweet husband (and his assistants Macey and Paige) made the cotton candy to be given as the party favors. The tags were done on a Cricut which I am now coveting.

The shower was a lot of fun and we are so excited to meet Charlie!

Jennie, you are SO talented! What a lucky friend/mom-to-be!! :)
It was seriously the cutest shower. Chicken salad was delish! And your home is darling!
Cute! Love the blogs you made!
Jennie- Those ideas are so cute! I am really lovin' the blocks. I am assuming you use a stencil to do the letters. Do you just sponge the background colors? I have a few friends who are expecting and would love to do these for them!
Jennie, you need to be a party planner! You throw the best parties! Everything is so, so cute!
