PLAYGROUND!!!!

It was a big day at the Councill house! Jack and I have been playground shopping for a few weeks now. We even debated buying a kit at HD and having Clay put it together. But seeing how it is the busiest time of year for him, we knew it wouldn't happen anytime soon and we wanted it asap. Jack needs an outlet especially now that I have to give 1/2 my time to Madeline. So a really nice man came put this in our backyard today:

Jack woke up from his nap and it was finished and he ran outside so fast. Later in the day, the mulch came and surprisingly, the driver backed the truck all the way into our backyard and dumped the mulch right on the playground! Now all we have to do is rake it out. Jack was mesmerized by the truck and the mulch. I was having MAJOR flashbacks of being on playground sites watching the mulch come off the trucks.

Happy boy on the slide. If you look closely at his legs, you will notice the remnants of his artwork with a black sharpie. This is after two baths and some nail polish remover. I guess it will just wear off. Too bad I can't say the same for the couch!

We are so excited to have our new playground! We had all the neighbors over this evening and didn't come inside til after 8. Lots of fun! Come visit!
