Trip to Knoxville

We packed up the minivan and hit the road to Knoxvegas for a week- just me and the kids. The drive was actually not bad. Madeline only woke up once each way and Jack ate lots of snacks and watched Madagascar 2 about 4 times. He was a happy camper! I am glad to have such good travelers b/c we love going places!

We were so excited to be at Mimi and Goose's (my mom and dad). This was Goose's first spring home in many years as he is usually on a baseball field this time of year. But with his new gig as a consultant, evaluating young pitchers for the Rangers, we are gonna get to see a lot more of him and are so happy!

Goose and I took Jack to Kids Workshop at HD while Mom watched Madeline. It was a fun time for the three of us. Jack made a birdhouse and was very pleased with himself.

We had cookout one night and Jack devoured a few hot dogs. I don't eat hot dogs so I have never made them for him but apparently I should. I think he ate three.

Jack and Maeve had fun playing together. Many adventures and some fights but that is to be expected.

Madeline started smiling when we were in Ktown. Here she is smiling at Goose. She loved him! He could get her talking and smiling alot!
