Madeline turned 2 months yesterday. We went to dr for her check-up and shots. It is so hard to see your baby cry like that- it was the saddest she has been since she got here! Thankfully though, she is very healthy. 24 inches (90%) and 12 lbs (75%) and cooed and smiled at the dr and did all her tricks. We celebrated by going shopping cause that's what girls do.

Now that we have the good reflux meds, Madeline is a very happy baby. She will smile and coo back at you when you talk to her. It is like having a conversation- she is already a chatter!

She will not take a bottle or a pacifier unlike her brother. We are trying all sorts of brands with each but so far no luck. It is quite frustrating. But I think she is going to be a thumb sucker b/c this girl cannot get enough of her hands. Here she is trying to get them. She succeeds every now and then but it is really funny to watch!

Madeline is on a roll when it comes to sleeping. Last night she slept from 8pm-5am. Most nights she can go 7-9 hours without a feeding. Jack didn't do this until he was 7 months old so I am still in disbelief. She sleeps quite a bit during the day too. I am not complaining. I also know that nothing lasts forever and this could change tomorrow.

We are so blessed with our healthy baby girl and love having her in our family!
